    My circuit breaker keeps tripping
The breaker to the stove keeps tripping off. The stove worked fine earlier, then I noticed it was out when it was not being used

240 vac or 120 vac? Is this an electric stove or a gas stove with a 120 vac circuit for times and lights?

There is a short somewhere in the wiring or a bad breaker. Look for a grounded element wire or a grounded supply cord or wiring to the outlet box or a shorted selector switch. You will need to do a little detective work but be careful, you have 240 Volts there. Have someone experienced with wiring look into it. If everything checks out OK, replace the breaker. Unless it is an older Cutler-Hammer or a discontinued brand, the breaker shouldn't cost more than $15
