    My ceiling fan remote uc7083t will not work the red light is on and it's on high
    My ceiling fan remote will not work only had it for a year model #UC7083T the red light is on but it will not turn off or on and the fan is on high I can trun is off only by the wall.

    Open the hand held remote, are there sevral small dip switches?

    I'm having the same problem and yes there is some dip switches numbered 1-4, can this be the problem
