Ceiling fan got wet, how do I fix the problem?
I have a ceiling fan on my screen porch. While cleaning the fan got wet and I can't get it started again. It has a remote and the red light remains on but dim.
Changed the battery on remote, opened it and let dry, still no luck.
    Ant ideas?

By your post not sure what got wet. The fan or the remote.

If the remote got wet, probably damaged electronics in it. U may have to replace remote.

If fan, use hair dryer on low or med heat to dry inside of fan. This may work, it may not.

Get back to us and let us know how u made out. There may be other things that can be done.

    Good luck
