    Ceiling fan contol of speed
[F]I just replaced the circuitry in my (Hunter) ceiling fan. The fan speed selector (in the wall) works fine for the light and the fan will sound like it is accelerating with each speed selected, however it will only maintain spinning in the highest speed. In each of the lower speeds it "selects the speed" but then does not maintain rotation; it stops.

Do I need to replace the wall controller, now?

It is a casa blanca four seasons fan, with the intellitouch wall control.
I replaced the "receiver" assembly in the fan unit in the ceiling.

I am told it may be faulty.

    Thank you,

You CANNOT use an InteliTouch wall control with a Hunter fan. You will need to replace it with an ordinary wall switch, unless the Hunter fan included a wall switch.

What was wrong with the Four Seasons fan?
