If you are referring to a Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter(AFCI) Circuit then yes, You can use any kind of dimmer you want. The AFCI circuit breaker only trips when voltage Varies erraticly when an electrical device is malfunctioning and arcing which can cause a fire. The Arc Fault breaker is a relatively new safety feature that should prevent most of the 40,000 house fires a year attributted to electrical arc fires. As long as your Dimmer is not malfunctioning causing unwanted arcing it will be fine.
