Depends.
What 3-phase system is it? And WHY are you working on a 3-phase system to begin with?

Franco,
Your questions are really basic level questions and for the most part are fine.
However, 3 Phase Power Sources are normally handled by licensed electricians.
Three phase can be very deadly for one thing also, if the "Hi Leg" is connected improperly, just about every 120 device on that phase bar will get toasted.
So I have to ask, are you qualified and have you studied three phase transformers and panelboards?

Franco, that question can not be answered without knowing specificly what 3phase system you have.

Hello,
I have a project that I'm working on and had to purchase a 3 phase motor that requires 480V. Looking at past posts, it appears that several people are familiar with 480V 3 phase motors. What do I need to do/build to power it?
Thanks!
