Installed two new 3 bulb post lights on concrete entry piers, one bulb pops and burns the base immediately upon installation... I have checked the wiring and everything is wired correctly, I assume ths is a bad bulb socket and the fixture is defective, has anyone had this problem before?

I have a three bulb light fixture that had worked fine since I installed it five months ago. About three weeks ago one bulb would only last about 3 of 4 days and than blow again. It's the same bulb each time, the other two are fine. Thanks for the help.

Hello- We have several outside pole lights (photocell),the bulbs keep blowing out. :( the halide bulbs are matched correctly with the ballasts... any suggestions? Thank you!
