Breaker not tripped but no power...
We had been having touble with a breaker tripping. Last night I thought it had tripped again because nothing on that circuit was working. I reset the breaker and still nothing was working on the circuit. I reset every breaker, still nothing worked. Today I replaced the breaker, again, nothing. There are no GFCI breakers in the house. What could be the solution?

Rusty, it sounds like you have a short. Have you been doing any construction in the house at all? New sheet rock install or anything that requires screws or nails? Secondly, some breakers require that you completely turn off breaker then turn back on as opposed to simply turning on.. # 3 has anyone been replacing switches or receptacles in the house that could've made an error in re-connecting wires?
