Bathroom vent fan wiring diagram power in fan to switches
I have a bathroom vent fan/light combo that I wanted to put the fan on a timer and the light on a switch. The power is at the fan/light and a 14/3 down to the box. Any easy way, or do I attempt to get another wire down out of the attic?

You can hook the white from the power to the lights neutral, you will have no neutral to switch. The white to the switches will need to be taped With black tape, this wire connects to the power at the light.
Then the other end of this taped white which is the hot that feeds power back up the red and black for fan and light.
