Any websites selling Hampton Bay parts?
I have an old (not to mention really cheap) Hampton Bay ceiling fan with light. They both operate from pull switches. One of the switches (light switch) broke.

I am looking for a replacement switch. The switch is soldered directly to the bulb socket. I'm sure if necessary, I could do the soldering job, but I'd prefer to buy the original part from Hampton Bay, but they don't seem to have a website.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

... as they carry the Hampton Bay line and I have never been able to locate a Web Site for them. Might be a subsidiary of Home Depot. You should be able to get spare parts... might take a while.

Hampton Bay is owned by Home Depot. They warranty their fans. If they still carry your fan, you can just take the main part down. Take into returns at any Home Depot and they will "even exchange" RTV it for a new one. No Cost. The customer service number is 800-279-1736 for Hampton Bay. E-mail [email protected]. But without the original receipt, they probably can not or will not help you. Your best bet is Home Depot.

The only way to get Hampton Bay parts is to contact the manufacturer of your fan. Several different companies make Hampton Bay fans.

    HOWEVER:

    1. As previously stated, you can return Hampton Bay fans to Home Depot for a replacement under warranty.

    2. Pullchains are very stardard parts and you can find one that will work at any hardware store.

Yeah, but that site sucks. They overcharge, and don't have the stock they claim to have. Plus the people I've dealt with there are rude. I usually recommend CeilingFanParts.com Home

I am using Hampton Bay lithium battery powered solar units in another project.
I have been purchasing the boxes of 6 units at Home Depot, but ONLY using the
Solar unit on top, discarding all the rest. It's wasteful and expensive. The box has
The identification SKU 386 038. The box of 6 units retails for slightly more than
    $54 at my Home Depot.

I would like to purchase the solar units ONLY from you. Is that possible ?

My email address is [email protected].

    Thank you,
    Dan Bowser
