    Adding an outlet
    Hi,
    I would like to place an outlet in the bathroom. Right now I have two swishes that control two different lights, inside the box I have two black wires and two white wires, how can an add an outlet and keep the two lights.

    Where are the lights located (ceiling, wall) and where do you want to put the outlet? Can you get a electric cable from one of the light fixtures to where you want the outlet?

    Sounds odd, only 2 blacks and 2 whites, must be black and white is power in and other black and white is the 2 switchlegs, would mean neutral gotten from somewhere else or using the ground incorrectly.
    If comfortable with electric, you could remove the 2 switches, locate stud to see if you can get wiring over to receptacle. The opening will help get new wiring to there.
    Another option if existing box is large enough, is to change to stacked switches, and install GFI in same box.

    Strat,

    I see power being supplied to each light fixture and a 2 conductor cable from each fixture to the switch box.
