    Adding led spot lights to a circiut
    Circuit already has 7 lights and 7 outlets. One light is a sealing fan.

    What is the amperage for this circuit?

    Because you have a ceiling fan installed you may already be pushing the max limit of the circuit amperage, particularly if the circuit is 15 amps.

    While there is no restriction on the number of outlets (lighting or receptacle) in a residence, there is a common sense number, usually between 10 or 12, depending on the circuit load being serviced. You already have 14.

I just purchased a few LED screw-in light bulbs. Now when ever I turn off the wall switch, the LED light is dimmed but not off. In these same fixtures with an incandescent bulb, the light goes completely off. How do I solve this problem? The house was built in 1979 with 3-wire 12 gage.
