3-way double pole switch & light/fan combo
I have two ceiling fans/light combos that I have on 3-way switches. One is a single pole 3-way switch and the other is a double pole 3-way switch. My thought was the single pole would turn both the light and fan on at the same time and then I could switch either off/on from the other location with the double pole 3-way switch. Double pole will turn on both when I hit the bottom switch and when I go to the other 3-way switch it doesn't turn off or no anything (the light just flickers). I am wondering how to wire this configuration or maybe I need 2 double-pole 3-way sitches? The wiring goes like this 2-wire from fee to single pole 3-way switch, 3 wire to 3-way double pole switch and 3 wire to ceiling/fan light combo and then 3 wire to next ceiling fan/light combo. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
