    12v motor as a generator.
I would like to use a 12v motor in a horizontal wind turbine. Wind turbine to 12v motor to battery. I'm missing something. I believe I need a diode in there somewhere? What size?

It depends upon the current rating of the motor I-e if motor current rating is 1 amp then you use the diode which have current rating greater than the motor I-e 1.5 or 2 amp
