My young puppy doesn't seem to be eating or drinking enough, When should I be concern
I just got a new puppy that was born 11/16/10. I've had him since the 24th. He doesn't seem to be eating or drinking enough, but does wet and poop. He seems to sleep a lot but will play when I engage him? I'm worried he might be sick, but don't want to visit a vet without reason. Any expert advice out there?

He's a baby. Babies sleep a lot. Why do you have him so young? Shouldn't he still be with his mom and siblings?

I have to ask the same question as WG how do you have a 6 week old puppy.
Unless the mother was killed the pup should still be with her.

You really need to get this puppy seen to by a vet as if you purchased it it is obviously not from a good breeder and needs a full examination anyway.
