    Very bloody stools with nausea
Missy has a history of mucus bloody stools, as well as chronic vomiting. Her vet has even given me medications to keep at home in case the vomiting happens while they are closed. This morning Missy woke up, whining, and not wanting to eat, plus she was burping. I gave her pepcid, and the anti-nausea medication, and she ate her food, and has eaten on and off all day. She burped once, and brought up a small amount of fluid and food. I called her vet today, and told them about her very bloody feces this morning, and they told me to watch her over the next few hours, and as long as she was still playful, and such she would most likely be all right. Later today, another one of my dogs was eating grass and vomited it up. The other dog (Scout) is playful and normal all day. My concern is the lack of concern from the vet. (Missy's regular vet is off today) We already have switched her food to prescription type of food, she gets no human food, and we monitor all toy play, I can assure that THIS time she got into nothing... The blood was BRIGHT red.. does anyone have any similar experiences I can learn from?

Even though no one has responded to this post yet, I am happy to report Missy's stool was 100% normal this morning. She is still burping a ton, her stomach is still churning a bit, and her anti-nausea medications will wear off in a few hours, so we shall see if she is vomiting then. I spoke with the vets last night, and we agreed it is time for bigger... test. I feel bad putting her through them, but this is horrible, for her and for my family. We need to know once and for all, what the underlying problem is. She does very well when she is on antibiotics (flagyl) but once they are done, she is ill yet again. If I know that she just goes through this every few weeks, I maybe won't lose so much sleep at night with anxiety over what is wrong. If she has something as serious as Cancer, I then know to enjoy the goods times. (I will not treat for Cancer, I have seen too many drawn out, horrible 'living with it' and death)... As I get answers I will post them so maybe I can help out someone else going through this!
