    Muscle Spasm in dogs leg
    Can any one help, my 4 year old (soppy) dog has been getting muscle spasm in his back leg for no apparent reason. It siezes up for about 10 minutes and he is in pain while I massage it and very sorry for himself afterwards. What can it be and how can I stop it happening

    Muscle relaxers or other medicine from the vet might help.

    Conduit, it is impossible to correctly diagnose and offer treatment for an illness online without the benefit of an examination. Have you spoken to your vet about this? If not, please call your vet and make an appointment for a full health check of your dog. Different breeds have different health issues. Hopefully, your vet will immediately recognize the problem and be able to offer you a simple course of treatment.
