    Puppy whines and cries all the time
    Hi We have a 6 week old chihuahua, and I have had puppies in the past but never have I had one that no matter what he cries, you hold him he cries put him down he cries,wrap him up he cries no matter what, My sister in law has his sister she is very playful and doesn't do that, DO I just have a whiner? Is there something I can do? Please help before my husband pulls his hair out:eek:

    6 weeks is borderline early to leave the litter. That could be part of the problem. There could also be a physical problem. At this stage, they need frequent trips to the vet for shots. Have the vet go over him carefully.

    Young puppies need continuing socialization with other dogs. Due to the dangers of infection, you need to be careful of which other dogs. It may help for him to spend some time together with his sister. Let them enjoy each others company.
