    Puppy shots?
When do I first take my puppy to the vet for shots, check up, anything? He is about 4 weeks old right now and I'm not sure that the people we got him from ever took him at all.

From your earlier post I can pretty well guarantee they didn't take the puppy. With the other problems you said you are having with the throwing up and not eating I would say NOW is a good time to see the vet. The vet will let you know about the shots routine. They are not a one time thing, they have to be given over a period.

I think usually the first round of shots or combo, comes at 5-6 weeks. Best to trust the vet. My vet is a bit of a fanatic giving more shots than the AVMA schedule. I have to agree with the other posts, at least talk to the vet. The not eating and throwing up could be due to too many changes, too young, or it could be sickness. Even if not, the vet may have more good ideas than any of us except DocWill, who hasn't posted yet.

We just tried to soak his food in the milk we have and put a bowl of the milk along side of it, he just sniffs it and walks away. Tried the bottle earlier, he more chewed it and was trying to get away from it. Didn't want anything to with it at all. We were thinking that if we just left it sit out next to where he lays that maybe he would eventually get hungry enough to eat it.?

Healthy Labs are notorious gluttons. Get him to a vet.
