    My puppy ate a rib bone whole
    My dad gave my 7lbs shorkie puppy a rib puppy and she ate the entire thing. Please help me I have no idea what to do?

    I would suggest taking the dog to the vet. The bone can get lodged inside her digestive tract somewhere and cause serious damage. You also need to keep an eye on the puppy's potting habits, and make sure she is going like normal.

    Rib and chicken (cooked) bones can be very dangerous for your dog, they can cause blockages and ripped stomach linings. Never give your dog cooked rib or chicken bones, they splinter way too easily. I would feed your dog some bread to cushion the bones, if he is not having a bowel movement, or is retching, gagging or excessive drooling, than you need to get him to the vet ASAP.
