    Peeing out of spite/attention?
    Hello,
I have two dogs, a British Bulldog and a Jack Russell Pug x. Both coming up to 18months in age.
The bulldog (Ralph) has recently started to (I would say) wee out of spite. Yesterday I was giving my other dog some attention and Ralph walked off and cocked his leg on my washing that was hanging out to dry- he'd been for a toilet break just 1 hour previous to this. There was no way he needed to go toilet...
My dogs are absoultely fine when they are home alone (as long as you way goodbye etc) HOWEVER if they know you are in but not in the same room, (i.e. asleep in the bedroom! Ralph thinks you are ignoring him and has started weeing on my curtains!!
This is driving me mad, my boyfriend works nights, so if he is alseep and I am out, the weeing starts! There is absolutely no need for it.
Does anyone have any advice for me?

Tho it feels like Ralph is being spiteful, dogs don't do things out of spite. They usually do things like marking out of dominance. Are both your dogs neutered? He is showing classic signs of dominance. He is saying this is my home and I own it. If they are not fixed, getting them neutered will usually subside the dominance tendencies. Make sure to clean the area with a good enzyme cleaner. I am a fan of water, vinegar and tee tree oil.
