My Pomeranian is 7yrs. Old . She is limping really bad on her right hind leg.
She is not sick, she has a good appetite. She does not play a lot.I bath her, clip ner

She still goes out to use the bathroom and she has to go up & down 5 steps each

You will have to take her to the vet. If you love her, do this, and find out what is wrong.

Lookingforluck I have moved your question into it's own topic.
Please don't piggyback on other peoples questions, especially if they are from 2005

The shedding sounds right for a Pomerianian, we are coming into a change of season and Poms shed like crazy a this time of year.

The limping could be any one of a number of things:
    Arthritis
    Cruchet ligament
    Patellas
    Even back problems

She needs to go to the vet to get it checked out if it has been happening for more than a day or two.
Until you can get an appointment keep her confined and try to limit her activity.

Excessive shedding could be linked to stress, anxiety, pain and bad food. First off, what type of food do you feed? Obviously she is in pain if she isn't walking on her leg. Has your dog always lost a lot of hair? Or is this just recent due to her leg problems?

If your dog is limping and you can't physically see why, then take her into the vet. I just recently had a young pup get in the way of two bigger dogs while they were running and basically bruised her shoulder. She couldn't walk on her leg for about two days and was pretty touch about where it was touched for a few weeks after. She was seen by a vet who gave a pretty big pain killer on top of Rimadyl. It could be as simple as that, or it could be a fractured bone or even some torn tendons.

Restrict movement as much as possible until you can make it to the vet, and I also believe you can use Children's Aspirin (tabs, not liquid) to help ease the pain. For your dog, I would suggest half a tab.

Days and was pretty touch about where it was touched

That made no sense! Sorry... let me rephrase

*** She was very touchy in that area and would squeak if she was laying on her shoulder wrong or was touched in the area that was bruised
