    Please help - my five month old cavapoo pees and poos in hi crate
    I've had my puppy for a month and love him dearly but about to give up. He seems to enjoy pooping and peeing in his crate and then spreading it all over. His crate is not too big. He doesn't have anxiety. I've never left him longer than an hour during the day and sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't. I am so afraid to put him in there now. At night I put the crate next to me because he will not cry when he has to go and will not cry after. He just goes and lays in it. I have had so little sleep because he always poops at night. I started feeding him only at 10am and he will poop 3-4 times during the day and still poop at night. Took him to a trainer and they couldn't help. Took him to the vet and she told me all dogs should be fully potty trained by 5 months and I must be doing something wrong. She was no help. I'm desperate for something.

    What are you feeding him?
    How many BMs in a day/night, and how firm/soft are they?
    How often does he pee?
    What was his life like for his first 4 months (pet store, breeder, family, rescue, etc)?

    Also, how do you potty him? Take him outside? If that, what do you do and say to him and for how long is he outside? Do you have pee pads around the house?
