I have a dog and I want to teach him some cool tricks other then the basics
I have a Jack Russel Terrier and he is really smart . I already taught him how to do the basic,
Sit, Lie down, roll over, speak, high five, jump, stay, GET IT! ( you put a treat on the ground and wait till you say GET IT! And he will get it.)

I want to teach him something new that is more challenging... have any ideas. :)

You could teach him to go get his toys by a voice command!

I have taught my dog to wink when I wink at her, lick her lips when I lick mine, and when she really wants her fave toy or ball, I keep it in my hand like I'm going to throw it for her. She gets really excited, and then I keep on repeating it saying... I waaant iiittt! After repeating it a few times, she says it in her best doggie language.

You could also buy a hoola hoop, and start with it on the ground, while holding it, and have a treat on the other side. If she steps through the hoop, she gets a treat! Then start raising it off the ground a little at a time, and before long she will be jumping through it to get the treat!

You could also try and get her to balance a treat on her nose, in the sit and stay position, and if she gets good at that, you can teach her to flip it up when you give a command, and catch it in her mouth!

There are a ton of things. I can give you more if you want, but there are a few to start with. :)

My dog basically puts his head on the floor on command. Its hard to teach them because its so close between sit and lay down and Bow. He keeps his rear end standing and bows to the floor than TILT... he lays his head on the floor and looks up at you. All we have to do is say touch the floor, or Put your head down

That's what I was going to say. We taught our black lab that one. She was pretty good at it. There was a couple times where she would flip the treat behind her head because she was so excited. Lol
