My dog won't eat or drink anything, what should I do.
His feces has no blood in it, and he hasn't threw up.

Go to the vet. He could have eaten something that has made him sick but he could have a turned intestine or bladder be shut down. There's too many things to take a chance on. Can dehydrate in 48 hours without fluid.

I'm going through that now with my 8 yr old weinmaraner. She just had surgery, but she wasn't eating before the surgery either because she had a terrible infection among other things. They said the surgery went well, but I can not get her to eat or drink. So, I bought jars of baby food and a turkey baster. Last night I force fed her the baby food, her medicine and some water. I took the day off work today and plan to try and feed her every hour. Take your baby to a good vet first.

Most cases of suddenly not eating call for having the vet find out why. I would never force feed a dog unless directed to by the vet.

Sorry... I didn't notice the date. However, my situation (my 8 year old Weinmaraner) could have still helped someone. The vet DID tell me to force feed her. But that was AFTER she had surgery and proper medication. This vet is excellent, she saved her life. My husband had taken her to another vet who didn't even notice that she had a 106 fever, among other things. When he brought her to me (we share custody) I immeadiatly brought her to another vet who then performed emergency surgery. My baby is still on antibiotics, but she is eating on her own now and doing fine. Thank God. :)
