I have the same problem (as here) but worse. My pomeranian pups (3 pups healthy and eats on their own) 2 pups barely drinks water and nothing else. I feed a great fornula of milk(evap), yogurt, mayo, water and vitacal. But I seringe the formula in mouth every 3 hours. If I go longer than 6 hour without they dehydrat and go listless. I have tried many types of can puppy foods, tried wetting dry lamb and rice, tried wetting dry chix and rice, and they won't even lick it. What else can I do? Most of the time the do lick a little vital cal. sometimes they don't want it. Their stool was watery for the last two weeks. So, tried giving keopec. Stool is soft but not watery as before. Should I continue with keopec?

Same problem as who? Are these puppies less than 4 weeks old and not weaned yet? I don't like your formula. Too much milk with hard to digest lactose. If you have very young puppies that the mother can't nurse, go to the pet store and buy milk replacer. It is formulated to be a good substitute for mother's milk. If they are over a month old and not eating solid food, struggle through the weekend the way you are, and take them to a vet Monday.

Puppies are over 3 months old. Same problem as one who said the had pup that won't eat. She took pup to vet with full exam and vet not finding anything wrong, recommending feeding different types of foods to no luck.

It is highly unusual for a healthy dog not under emotional distress not to eat all it needs. Have you seen a vet and discussed the eating problem problem with him? If not, do so. If the vet says they are OK, pick a dry puppy chow. A concentrated, meat based one is best for light eaters. Three times a day put down about half a cup for each. Take up what isn't eaten in 15 minutes. Don't give them anything else until the next scheduled meal. Won't hurt a thing if they don't eat for several days. Make sure they have plenty of water. Talk to the vet about my suggestion. The vet can see the puppies
    And better determine their needs.

Check back in this thread for my illustrated guide to determining body condition and adjust what they are feeding. .

    Hi,
I strongly agree with the answer before mine, about taking them to a Vet.
Their reasons for not eating may be completely different than other dogs.
I do wish you the best of luck.
