    Dog urinating inside the house
We have 3 Beagles and the youngest one is 5 years old and he never urinated inside the house. Lately he is being doing that. He used to let us know every time he need it to go out and he is no longer doing that. If we take him out he goes and if we take him out within 30 minutes he will urinate like he was holding it for hours, a lot. We adopted a female cat and this behavior started after 3 month of the cat brought into the house. I will think he is doing this to call for more attention but I am also concern because I don't know if this are some health problems. Please help me to understand my dog problem!
    Thank You

It could be a UTI in which case a vet appointment is a must.

Could also be that he's upset about the cat, but rule out health concerns first.

Let us know how it goes.

I've got to spread the rep, alty, (jeez, you've got posts I want to rate all over the place! :) ) but that's exactly what I was thinking.

The symptoms are all related to a probable UTI, which can be both very painful and even dangerous if left untreated. Whenever a well trained pet starts to stray from its good habits, as in regular peeing in the house, it's always for a reason. The first thing that needs to happen is that the vet must rule out any medical issues. If it's determined that it's not a physical issue, you can go into analyzing the situation for psychological factors. That's the rule of thumb. However, this time it's got to be straight to the vet. Other than a urinary tract infection, it could be related to kidney function. Only your vet will be able to diagnose the issue.
