    Dog passed away
My dog reccey passed away 4 weeks ago.he was always a big eater.he had his shots, then he started losing weight,he went from 14 to 9 pounds in 3 weeks.he would paw at his mouth when he tried to eat.sometimes he would paw at his mouth when I would just show him food.he was vomiting a clear liquid.his tonge was pale.I took him to the vet they did bloodwork.checked his mouth, gums, said nothing was wrong.they said I had to force him to eat.we tried everything, one time he would a eat a few bites next time he would not.I took him back to the vet, they did another bloodwork, ckecked his mouth again.they said nothing was wrong, just a little anemic.but that was from not eating.that was on a Monday,on Saturday the same week he was vomiting that clear liqued a few times could hardly stand up.I took him to the vet again his temp.was 90 .the vet kept him that night, the vet said he tried to save reccey but he didn't make it. Do you have any ideas what was wrong with reccey?

I don't know what his ailment could have been. I don't have any kind of experience with that, but I wanted to tell you I'm so sorry about your dog. It must have been so hard to watch his health deteriorate without being able to stop it. It's so sad. :(

I think it was obvious that something was wrong, but the vet just didn't find it. About 5 years ago my friend almost lost her dog guide to colitis her vet didn't find. Finally I took them to the clinic at the dog guide school and they found the problem and got her on medicine to cure it. They have a couple of the best vets in the country. Like others here, I am sorry to hear about your dog. What the problem was is not where I can help.

Okay everyone, this is going to be a really long post, so get ready. When I was 12 yr.'s old my mother passed away from a brain aneurism. I did not grieve at all afterwards, I guess mainly because I wanted to shut it out of mind at the time (which I now know is normal, especially at the age). ...

Father passed [ 9 Answers ]

My father passed this life on Jan 2, I was with him at his passing. He went down hill quickly since Thanksgiving. At that time he could still walk across the floor, but Christmas he was confined to his bed. His passing was peaceful in his sleep. He will truly be missed.
