    There can be many reasons.
    I think the question you want to ask is how do I stop her.

    Try mixing a little pineapple in your dogs food or sprinkling a little meat tenderizer in there... it supposedly makes their poop less appealing and stops them from eating it.

    Bingo attempted just the other day out of the blue to eat "poop" don't know who's it was. I scooped it up and went and added meat tenderizer to their food and everything has been perfect ever since.:) (didn't have any pineapple)
