Strangely enough, the same thing happened to my dog a few hours ago.
Keep a close eye on her, and if she has any trouble breathing get her straight to an emergency vet.
If she is breathing fine then don't worry too much, just keep doing what you are doing and wait. Leave it a few hours and if the swelling hasn't gone down at all, then take her in.
If you have any kid-safe antihistamines around it wouldn't hurt to give her one of those either (must be safe for kids)

Benadryl. 2-4mg/kg.

You can try making a paste out of baking soda and meat tenderizer. Make sure not to get any actually in her eye, of course. It will help draw out the stinger and/or venom and may help the swelling go down faster.

I'd take the dog to the vet ASAP. It's even possible that she's been snake bitten.

I would personally take them to a vet, but sometimes benadryl (spelling?) or child safe antihistamines do work wonders sometimes..
One winter my dog had stuck his face in the snow ( I know its not an insect bite/sting thing but its an example) some how he had poked his eye on a piece of dirty ice. The ice scratched his cornea and injured his eyelid. His eyelid was so swollen that the part that usually touches the eye was protruding out past the lid and it looked horrible. I took him to the vet right away and she said he could have become blind due to infection if I hadn't of taken him in
