    Dashhound back trouble

My dashhound got down in his lower back.taken him to vet he did surgeryon him said he had a disc pressing on a nerve on his spine . Vet said surgery was a success if it was why isn't he walking it's like he has no feelings in the back legs. Has anyone ever had this to happen to their dog? If so will he walk again? I'm thinking of ordering him the doxie wheel chair so he can get around .any suggestions tks

You don't say how long it has been. Each case is different, stay in touch with the vet.

It was the first week in July he had surgery. He has been back to vet last week he still says he will walk. He crawls on his back legs. I feel the vet didn't want to see him any more he got my money so now he doesn't care that's bad huh! Tks for reply

If so, that is terrible. You may want to consider a different vet. It is possible the vet just feels he has done all he could.
