    My daschund's ears
I have a 3 month old daschund puppy and in the last couple of weeks instead of his ears laying flat to the head they seem to be more wrinkled and bunching at the side of his head. Is this a normal part of his growth and something he will grow out of? When his ears at held flat they appear to be proportional to his head but are just not laying flat naturally. Any help would be appreciated.

    Your Puppy
I have a Doberman and before I got her I googled Doberman and found out what to expect from her breed. Including things like ears, problems to expect such as problems with their bones later in life, etc. Even the positive things :)
Sorry, that's all I know to tell you.

Try looking at some adults. Of course, it could be a phase. At that age German Shepherds look like a donkey cross with adult sized ears on a half grown dog. Until some of the Dachshund people here answer, www.akc.org may be a short cut to Dachshund info.
