8 week lab puppy not eating
I got a 5 week old lab puppy which became familiar in 2-3 days. He is now 8 weeks and got his first vaccination 2 week back. He has also got the de-worming.
Now he has stopped eating. He just has few (very few) water or milk and became weak. Also he is not as playful as he used to be. We tried several changes in his food but no use. Any idea ? I think I need to mention that we had to leave him home alone for whole day last week on 2-3 occasions. Is there some relation with it to this behaviour of his. The vet has stopped to take him out to park etc.
Please help before we take it to the vet again. And one more thing how can we check temperature and what is normal temperature.

    Thanks a lot

Your puppy is definitely sick and needs to see the vet. The temperature should be about 101-102 degrees Fahrenheit. You can take the temperature with a rectal thermometer. Be very gentle and put Vaseline or mineral oil on the thermometer before placing the bulb in his rectum. Remove it and read it in 3 minutes. I am not sure how much good it will do. He is sick, and you need the vet to help him.

Thanks, today I figured that he is showing interest in chicken soup and boiled eggs and is very happy with these.
I will anyway take him to the vet. Thanks again

I received a dog/puppy from a person who wasn't taking very good care of here, She refuses to eat dry food, she will only eat fresh meat or canned meat chunks, I've been feeding her porkribs with her dry food, but it's not working so well. Do you know how I can get her to eat dry food?
