Why Can't I Let Him Go!
Hi everyone. I am having a problem and I don't know how to resolve it so I am hoping to hear from some of you that have went through this. I left my husband back in March. We had problems that we thought we could never resolve so we filed for divorce. It has been 5 months since the papers were filed. We have a 2.5 year old together so we see each other a lot. Recently we have found ourselves falling for each other again. I don't know where to even start with him. I don't want things to go back to the way they were before the divorce came up because we were both so unhappy. Has anyone went through this and can give me some advice as to how to handle this situation? I just want my family back. :(

Hi. All I can say is if you really love him, fix your relationship. As they always say, love is sweeter the second time around.

I went through this last year, only luckily we didn't have any children. I would suggest to take things slow with each other. I am a Christian so I believe that once married you should stay married except if there is marital unfaithfulness, but that is my own belief. Think about what it was that made you guys separate to begin with. Is it something that is going to be an issue in the future or can it/has it been fixed? I would advise also to maybe seek professional counseling for the both of you. It's hard to have a healthy relationship when there are unresolved issues and excess baggage, so fix the problem and allow yourself to enjoy the love. Blessings to you both and good luck!
