What to do first?
Defendant is no where to be found. Followed all steps to ensure service by publication. Received correspondence from all 5 military bases, motor vehicles, board of elections, post office and took care of my part. Now.. Do I go to the county clerk and get an index number and then ask about service by publication or do I go to the Supreme Court and speak to someone about showing all paperwork to judge and getting the service by publication. Should I already have an index number before trying to get due diligence proven? Don't know where to go first.
