    Motion for Default Hearing/Divorce
I received a motion for default notice last week, hearing is this Friday. I've appeared twice before the court thus far but did not respond in writing initially. I don't have an attorney.

What recourse do I have at this point and what can I expect at this hearing?

If it is just for a divorce, if you just don't show up, they issue the divorce under the terms the other person is asking for.

If you show up, what do you want to do, ifyou want to get a divorce agree to it and get it over with?

I don't agree with everything written in the divorce... We need mediation!!

If I appear is it still likely the judge will order a default? Can I defend myself at this hearing? Thanks much for any response!

What state are you in? Since you didn't respond to the initial petition (that's why you're in default) you don't get much input on how things will proceed from here. I would suggest talking to a local family law attorney to find out what you can do from here.
