    International divorce answers on Abandonment Law against the husband in the Philippines
    I need a divorce my husband abandon me and my two kids in the philippines 30 years ago and I don't know where he is I don't know if he's dead or alive I live in the usa now for two and a half years and want to marry an american man how do I go about marrying him,, thank you for your help on this problem of mine

    You get over the abandonment that law or laws has nothing to do with your divorce now.

    You merely file for divorce in the county in the US state where you live. Most require no reason for divorce. Since you don't know where he is, the court will require some attempt to find him, and then notice in a specific newspaper of the divorce hearing.

    Just hire a divorce lawyer, this is a common divorce where one party does not know where the other is.

    And it is just a divorce, there is no such thing as "international" divorce. Once divorced here, you are divorced and can remarry
