You are looking for the advantages of the disadvantages of both? Are we playing chess to the tune of a philosophical question? Just kidding. Surely you mean the advantages and disadvantages of both as compared to each other.

Personally, I have no preference. If it does what I need it to do and gets me to where I need to go on the Internet, then that's all I care about. I have used both Macs and PC's for many years.

I can tell you about some things that I have heard though. Whether they are true or not is up to speculation. But, I do suspect that they are true.

Macs tend to break down much less often then Microsoft computers.
Macs are more expensive than Microsoft computers.
Mac computers are better for doing such things as graphics.
It's nearly impossible to find up-to-date software for Macs in major retail stores.

Aside from the above things that I have heard, you might want to check out the following site also, for some additional views/information. https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/apple-...ight=Pc+vs+Mac

Additionally, I am hoping that others will come on board to give you some advice as I am sure that there are a lot more people on this site who know much more about computers than I do.

There are other threads here that already discuss this. There are also many differing opinions.

The main issue in my mind is market share. MACs comprise less than 10% of the market. Historically the reason for this is that MACs are more expensive.

With such a small market share, there is less support meaning fewer software choices and less peripherals.
