I eventually fixed problem by modifying the upper filter in the registry item for the keyboard. It was incorrectly set to tfk6mon (somehow) and should have been kbdclass.
The keyboard worked OK...

To my surprise it did work. I was able to bring up safe mode. It loads
Windows xp are build xpsp sp3 gdr 080814 1236 I thenseleted last safe boot no versions listed so carried on. Sys same as before...

Hi, my PC has not fallen off the desk. For your info the hardware manager in control pannel indicates that it cannot access the keyboard .error10. When I connect via usb it says device is working....

Hi,I have the same problem as you. Tried lots of hings. Nothing works. Resort to using
Osk- onscreen keyboard. Did anyone give you a fix that worked? Thanks des nov2008
