Code 19 error in windows xp device manager
After thinking a dvd-rom drive was not working , I installed a new dvd-rw combi cd-rw drive and get the error in device manager code 19 "registry may be corrupt" Microsoft say to remove upper and lower filters in the registry , but I'm a little dubious about messing about with the registry as it could kill the system , any advice gratefully received.
