    Question about extractions
My dentist referred me to a specialist to do two extractions -- one in the right upper and one in the right lower. I haven't seen him yet, but am wondering if he would extract both at one sitting, and if so, how long can I expect the bruising and the pain to last?
He will most likely have to put me out to do it. I need to schedule time off from work etc.

Why not ask the Dentist? Do it on a Friday if possible and that way you only miss 1 day work. Take it as a vacation day.

Yes, normally they can do both. How you react and how I react is different, two teeth pulled, I was back to work the next day.
