Mouth pain originally thought was tooth related but now think its in the gums
I am having pain which at first I thought was in my teeth, but now I think is in my gums. It runs from the center bottom all the way to the left back of my mouth and sometimes the tip left. My dentist has done everything to dismiss me saying that I have no cavities and that if I have pain its from grinding my teeth. I wear a night guard and haven't grinded my teeth in a very long time so far as I know. Thus, I hate to go back, but the pain is getting worse and lasts sometimes all day. I don't know what to do. My mouth is throbbing right now and is wathering. It has been like this so far for 2 hours today. Do you have any advice.

I would say either seek another Dentists' opinion or tell your Dentist that you simply cannot take the pain. Has he taken x-rays?

yes he did x-rays and didn't find any cavities. I'm frustrated because it hurts but I'm also nervous that its something worse.

I'm also experience severe headaches, and night sweats which started recently and are now occurring every night. I'm 28, too young for night sweats.

I'm seeing a dentist, physician, chiropractor, and gastroenterologist for symptoms that I'm wondering if are all related.

Is the pain worse in the morning? Did your dentist check your nightguard? Perhaps it needs to be adjusted?
