    Why does he do this?
I have a weird question about something my fiancé does. He gets these really strong... urges I guess you can call them, to squeeze me. When he does it he will just squeeze my ear or arm or something like that, and make this really serious face, clenches his teeth together really hard, and squeezes. If I back away or move his arm so he can't he gets really frustrated about it until he can squeeze me. Once he gets the urge he just has to do it. He does this to our dogs too! He has Ben doing this for 2 years, uncountable times a day. We have been together for 3, it just started one day and has gotten worse ever since. Why does he do this?

Wow. When I read the title I was thinking you were talking about playful squeezing-my boyfriend will playfully squeeze me. But this sounds like more than playful squeezing. Does he seem angry when he does it? Are there certain things that seem to trigger these urges? Does he hurt you or the dogs?

No! It doesn't hurt at all - I laugh when he does it, and he does too when it's over, but while he is squeezing he is very serious. No, it doesn't hurt at all.

Some people like to play basketball. Others like to go sing. He likes to squeeze.

If it doesn't hurt, what's the problem? Every one has their own, hobbies, likes, dislikes, wants, needs, etc. Just another part of his personality.

There is no problem. Just wondering if it's an OCD thing or what.

In what way do you mean gotten worse? The frequency, the grip, how long he holds on, the insistence, etc.

How do the dogs react? If they try to get away, what is his reaction to them?

The frequency is what I meant. He does it more often. The dogs don't do anything. It doesn't hurt them or anything he will be petting them and then squeeze and they don't even notice.

Put it down as a quirk of his personality. Since it hurt no one and brings him pleasure.
