    Why do men need space and time?
    Me and my boyfriend broke up and he says he wants to work things out with me just he needs space and time cause there's a lot going on with his fammily so he has to be there for them, but he wants to work things out with me he said he's not sure when we will be back together cause he needs time and space he wants to be there for his friends and family... what I'm I suppoced to do, does he really want to be with me and work things out?

    ... "i need space" is definitely a girl's go-to move... not a guy's. But nevertheless... to me, 9 times out of 10, "I need space" is usually a copout for a breakup. Now, there is that 1 out of 10 that says that they really need some space, and later, things work out.

    ... it's just that there're so many guys that come on this site saying their girls need "space" and "time to work things out" and they eventually move on.

    For now, don't worry about him. If the guy wants space, give him his space. As for now, take this time to read that book you really wanted to read... or to catch up with some of your friends.

    I agree, he is probably trying to take the easy way out but I might be wrong, but he if he really cared about you then he would make time for you as well!!
