Hey everyone.

I have been dating the same girl now for 10 months and on Monday night she broke up with me. She told me that she broke up with me because she wasn't happy with her life and to be truly happy she needed to solve her problems by herself with no fallback options. I know she still has feelings for me, but she never really gave me any signs as to what was going on in her head. She told me on Monday that she had been thinking this for about a week now. Ive seen her a lot in the past week and everything seemed fine. She seemed like her usual self. I know she isn't happy at home as her dad is an alcoholic and his drinking REALLY bothers her. But I've known that for a long time and we've talked about it before and she seemed fine.

She's also leaving in Sept. to go to school 5 hours away from home. She was always telling me that we were "going to make it through the year" and that "we can handle a long distance relationship." Although I know that since we've been apart she's been spending a lot of her time with her best friend lyndsey as she also recently broke up with her boyfriend. So I guess they trying to stay strong and stick to their decision. They have also made plans to go drinking A lot to keep their minds off things but I know this isn't the best solution. My ex has told me that sometime in the future after she has sorted things out with herself that she'd love to be in a relationship with me again. I tried to make the whole situation as easy as I could on her and stayed up till 4am the night she broke up with me trying to comfort her and let her know that I wasn't mad at her and I wouldn't hate her for doing this. She hasn't spoken to me since that night which I completely understand but what could she be thinking now? We recently bought concert tickets and planned to go to this amusement park next week and she told me that she would still love for me to go... but I think it may be too soon for her to see me again as she told me she didn't want to see me for a while. I guess I am just very confused about the whole situation and need someone to kind of help me straighten out my thoughts. What do I do now?

Friend first think is that she doest want to involve you in her problems. One thing it time for you to help her but not directly but then she shouldn't know that you are behind it

Give her sum space and after sum time tell her that you love and don't want to leave her... but then give sum time still she is in your hand don't make any stuiped mistake that you will loose her. Tell that you are always there to help her... let her feel that you are there for her.

Be smart don't be depress.. life is bad but then you should be good with it

Drinking does not solve her problems; it increases more.
I used to be dependent on alcohol for two-three years... the burning in the throat made me choke a bit, but I ate food to keep it off...
