    What to do
I'm going to ask this girl out this week and providing she says yes, I'm stuck with what to do on the first date. We're are good friends already but I feel that there could be something more.

An obvious choice would be to go and watch a film but that gives you very little or no chance of actually talking to her, which chiefly is a part of the date.

Another top one is a meal, but that does mean a long time of none stop talking between me and her, and as I've said, we already know each quite well.

    So any ideas welcome please!

A picnic, a walk in the park/beach, getting a coffee, doing a sporting activity of some sort.

I had a guy who brought me out paint balling on our first date, I thought it was great!

Ooooh, Neverme- paintball sounds FUN!! I've always wanted to do that! :::jealous:::

Bowling, laser tag, miniature golf, sports bar (depending on your age), or an amusement park...

You'll notice a common theme in our answers is doing something fun on the first date to help ease the tension. So doing things that you'd do anyway as friends (ice cream, walk in the park) are a good first date.

You can move up to more romantic things like candlelit dinners and movies after you're a little more comfortable with each other on the "dating" level.

True well he could go for a walk with some ice-cream and it would work, if they don't like ice-cream they could go to the beach!

Movies/Dinner can definitely get boring. My favorites dates are Laser Tag, Mini golf, Bowling.. Things that you can do while you share a fun time together, but its not sitting across a table talking with them. I would pick something you both like to do, and have a common interest in. Amusment park I thought was a great idea, but that can get pricey.

    Good Luck!:D
