Taking a Break
About 4 months ago I ended up blowing up on my girlfriend a couple times saying some hurtfull things. The reason I blew up was not only from stress from moving/college but from her constant "give up" and depressive attitude from when things go wrong. We ended up taking a break but got back together. Recently she said she never got the time she needed and wants to take a break again but is afraid to loose me, I told her to take the time she needed to improve herself, she agreed but before we said goodbye she ended up breaking down and said she can't loose me again how I make her so happy and all, but then took it back and said she needed her time. I told her that what she just did wasn't OK and hurtfull, and she said see all I do is hurt you I'm just a horrible person and went off.
I went two days later to her work to cheer her up by getting her some lunch, she seemed to ignore it and later blocked me off AIM. I went on another SN to see what was up and she said, your not respecting my time again and to leave her alone, that she reliezed all she does is hurt me and wants me to leave her alone.
So I'm asking, did I mess up in trying to cheer her up? Or should I just wait for her to figure out what she needs before getting back?

Time and space is what she wanted, which you agreed to give her. You're not doing that by going to her work or IMing her, take her hint and just remove yourself from her life. This was the path she chose

I feel like I say this a lot on this site, but she needs to know what it's like to miss you. If you're bringing her lunch and IMing her she's not getting the space she asked for. It sounds like she really doesn't know what she wants, so let her get it together and wait for her to contact you. Hang in there. We're here for you if you need us.

She's been talking to me indirectly, through sites like Facebook

You should ask her if she wants space or not? Because continuing contact is not giving her space.

It seems like she wants to speak to you only when she's ready and not when you want to.
For the time being I would leave her alone and don't talk to her. If space is what she wanted then it what she gets. No more speaking to you directly or indirectly.

I haven't talked to her, she wanted space so Im giving it to her, its just the fact I know she's reading w/e I put up on the internet and is replying to it in a way she'll know I'll see it, so in a way its like she wants space, yet she wants to know what I'm doing which makes no sense

The reason why a girl wants space to begin with is because you gave her too much.. believe it or not girls don't like puppy dogs that are super loyal and follow them around all the time... when u give them everything u have.. as nice as that is... it makes the girl feel smothered and she probably needs time to find herself again.. Im sorry to say but this probably won't work again.. the relationships are never the same after taking breaks and stuff... unless she decides that she wants you in her life again... you shouldn't try to talk to her... it's all up to her.. if she wants u.. She'll find you..
