    Should we be friends?
    OK, this is the final question that has been haunting me. Should I be friends with him, or should I ignore him? Please answer with a reason of why I should do that. Thanks, and all of your answers have totally helped!

    My suggestion is don't "try" to do either thing. Don't force a friendship nor ignore him. Just get on with other things, don't seek him out, don't run from him when you bump into each other.
