    I screwed up!
So I had a date on Saturday night (5th date). I made dinner for him and his friends (another couple). While I was making dinner I drank 3 glasses of wine. After dinner, we went out on the balcony (I sat on his lap)... AND... I passed out! It was 9:30PM. We were suppose to go out afterward. I woke up at 1:30AM and I was sick with a horrible cold. I was up for the rest of the night, I couldn't breath, coughing... horrible. He had just gotten over being sick (probably where I got it from) and treated me like I had the plague.

He seemed mad at first when he went to bed (at 1:30AM). But, after he realized that I was sick... he didn't seem as mad anymore. But, he was quiet and didn't say much of anything. I told him that I was embarrassed and felt horrible for ruining his night. He just smiled and didn't say anything. The only thing that he said was that he was sorry that I was up all night.

Normally, alcohol doesn't hit me that hard. But, because I was getting sick... I think that it hit me harder.

Did I completely blow it?

you didn't blow it if he has any compassion or sensibility.

being grumpy cause you drank too much and couldn't go out... maybe a flag thrown up... but being tired because you were getting sick, even if the 'cohol hastened your sleep, is nothing to be ashamed of.

if he holds this against you, he has a vindictive nature. You are going to make more mistakes in the future, right? We all do. If he is unwilling to let this pass, let him go... it won't be worth walking on eggshells to appease such a person. You were sick, after all.

so... grumpy at first cause he thought you drank too much and stopped the nights plans? OK. But grumpy after you clearly became sick (probably from him)? Bzzzzzzzz! Wrong answer.

Lord knows id be out the door long ago if my mate held every little dumb thing I did against me.

what did you cook for dinner, by the way? What wine? =)

Well, it seems to me like if he is a nice guy he won't hold it against you or bring it up again. I can see him being a little disappointed if he thought you only passed out early because of drinking, but he shouldn't have been mad once he realized you were sick. I would see how it goes. It seems like if he was really mad about it, he would have said something about it in the morning. If he knew you were up all night, he had to understand that you were sick, and that obviously isn't your fault. The next time you guys talk, tell him that you feel bad for passing out and suggest a fun date for the two of you to make up for it.

    Thanks!

I made a chicken cassarole (broccoli, chicken, special sauce and cheese-topped with bread crumbs). Then, I made greenbeans w/ walnuts. Bread rolls and pudding in a cloud for dessert. I never got to the dessert ;( . To make all of this was HUGE for me.

I don't know anything about wine... it was a red wine... that's all I know.

I make a lot of mistakes too. My friends are often amused by the stupid things that I do. I guess to know me is to love me ;).

    Yum!

I think if he has half a clue, and you two hit it off long term, thisll be something you laugh about looking back.
