    Older Guy?
So... I'm 17 and I've been on this online dating site to meet some new people. There's this nice guy I met, but he's 24, he gave me his phone number, should I end it now or call him?

I would let it go. I don't know very many 24 year olds who would show legitimate interest in a 17 year old. Not only that you both are at such completely different places in your life I can't imagine it would be that great. You are just getting ready to go out into the world and he has already been there done that and is dealing with totally different things.

I'm sure there are some awesome guys your age around.

17 / 24 This is one where if you were 18 and mature I would say a little more mature male ( but then some 24 year old males are still kids)
I would say first be careful of "dating sites" too many married men just looking for sex, or all sorts of strange people,

Personally I would say end it and try to find someone closer to your age for now,

Is there really that big of a difference between 17 and 18? But yeah it's a huge age difference(17/24), maybe there are some nice guys my age... just not where I am ^_^, I'll keep looking. I agree it kind of scares me just meeting someone on the internet. Why must men take forever to grow up!!

Oh honey it just takes time. There is an old joke about when men grow up - its three weeks after death.

I would suspicious of a 24 year old. I would imagine you're still in HS and he's out in the real world. Not for nothing he would kind of have to be a loser to want to date a HS girl (No offense!! I don't mean you're not a great catch for your age range just for a 24 year old, you know? Come on he can't get a 24 year old?)

The heck with the age difference... On line dating is a risky thing no matter your age. How did you even sign up on a dating service at 17?

I am never a supporter of online dating website. I 'd rather meet the person face to face.
It is not than an age problem, it's about safety and the concept to truey knowing someone.
I know there are many couples met online, but I still won't take this risk.
Try to meet someone in reali life and don't always seek the one. If u just wait and let it happen, at mean time focus on your study. It's really important to fulfill your schooling at 17.
Keep it in mind that Youth should be light hearted about love.

End it now, there has to be a good reason this guy can not find a girl his own age, why is he even on a dating site did you think of this, there are plenty of guys out there, you don't need to meet one on the internet.

Umm, did you tell the truth about your age? If the site allowed a 24 yr old to contact you they might be held liable under the law. So I suspect you din't tell him your real age.

If you did and he was still interested, I would run from him.
